2025
International Post-Digital Composition Masterclass & October of New Music Festival 2025, September 29 - October 5, 2025​
  • Selected to participate in the International Post-Digital Composition Masterclass led by Professor Brigitta Muntendorf, as part of the October of New Music Festival (Uuden Musiikin Lokakuu) in Oulu, Finland. A new work for soprano, piano/keyboard, and live electronics—written for soprano Meeri Pulakka, pianist Helga Karen, and music technology specialist Tapio Lappalainen—will premiere during the festival.

Stanford Recording Arts Workshop, July 14 – 25, 2025
  • Participating in the Stanford Recording Arts Workshop at CCRMA (Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics),  culminating in the release of a collaborative album featuring a newly composed piece created during the residency in Stanford, California. 

CIEL, Academy of Composition and Musical Research, Cordes-sur-Ciel, France
  • Delusional Silence (TBA) will be premiered on July 19, 2025, by Ensemble Linea at Théâtre du Colombier, France. 

Women Composers Festival of Hartford (WCFH), February 28 – March 1, 2025
  • Presented a lecture-recital titled Innovative Techniques and Inspirations in Nahyun Kim's Piano Music at the 2025 WCFH Scholarly Symposium in New Britain, Connecticut.
